Bacteria-Mediated Synthesis of Silver and Silver Chloride Nanoparticles and Their Antimicrobial Activity

Within the frame of this work, synthesis silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) and chloride (AgCl as mediated by microbes has been investigated. The were reduced from a nitrate precursor presence bacteria, like Raoultella planticola Pantoea agglomerans. results show that characteristic surface plasmon resonance absorption band occurs at about 440 nm. Nanoparticles also characterized with help scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), transmission (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), which showed formation spherical Ag/AgCl NPs centered cubic crystal structure mean particle size around 10–50 Assays for antimicrobial activity biosynthesized demonstrated meaningful against microorganisms such Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Salmonella, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens. Furthermore, study shows combination obtained standard antibiotics may be useful in fight emerging microbial drug resistance.
